Baku: In the first seven months of 2025, Azerbaijan produced 2,292 passenger cars and 190 trucks, as reported by APA-Economics, citing the State Statistical Committee. Compared to the same period in the previous year, passenger car production fell by 9.2%, while truck production saw a more significant decline of 34.5%.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, as of August 1, the inventory of finished products included 47 passenger cars and 37 trucks. Additionally, during the same reporting period, Azerbaijan produced 309 tractors, marking a 12.2% decrease from the previous year.
Last year’s production figures were notably higher, with 5,998 passenger cars and 697 trucks manufactured in the country. The current production declines indicate challenges within the automotive sector in Azerbaijan.
