Baku:Azerbaijan's revenue from freight transportation via main gas pipelines reached AZN 1.4024407 billion in the first half of this year, marking a 3.2% year-on-year increase.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, in the first half of 2025, this figure was AZN 1.3591566 billion.

During the same period this year, 20.7921 billion cubic meters of gas were transported through Azerbaijan's main gas pipelines, which is a 2.6% increase compared to the same timeframe last year.

Of the total gas transported in the first half of the year, 55% was through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus Pipeline. This pipeline is primarily used for exporting gas from the Shah Deniz gas-condensate field, with 11.4422 billion cubic meters of gas transported, reflecting a 1.8% increase.
