Baku: Next year’s minimum subsistence level in Azerbaijan will be set at 300 manats, APA reports. This decision was revealed in the draft law ‘On the Minimum Subsistence Level in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026,’ which was discussed at today’s session of the Milli Majlis.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minimum subsistence level will see an increase of 15 manats from the previous year. In addition, specific amounts have been designated for different demographic groups in 2026: 317 manats for the working-age population, 245 manats for pensioners, and 260 manats for children.

The draft law underwent discussions and was subsequently put to a vote, where it was adopted in the first reading.
