Azerbaijan Shines at 17th TURKSOY Opera Days Gala Concert in Turkmenistan

Ashgabat: The 17th gala concert of the TURKSOY Opera Days took place at the Mukamlar Palace in Ashgabat, focusing on enhancing cultural cooperation among Turkic states and highlighting their shared musical heritage.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event featured the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan and included notable performers from Trkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan. Azerbaijan was represented by the acclaimed opera singers, Honored Artist Farida Mammadova and Taleh Yahyayev, whose performances received warm appreciation from the audience.

The Azerbaijani artists performed classical pieces that showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and deep musical traditions, underscoring Azerbaijan's significant creative potential in the arts.

The concert was attended by senior officials of Turkmenistan and TURKSOY, ambassadors from various countries, representatives of diplomatic missions, cultural and artistic figures, as well as media and public representatives.

Following the event, the performers from Azerbaijan were acknowledged by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan, who presented them with bouquets in recognition of their contribution to the concert's success.
