Muscat: The First International Forum on Creative Handicraft Industries began in Muscat, Oman, on January 22. The forum, organized by Oman's Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, is scheduled to continue until January 26.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijan is participating in the event through representation by the State Tourism Agency. The forum features institutions from several countries engaged in the creative handicraft industries, highlighting the collaborative spirit of the event.

During the forum, Rashad Ismayilov, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Oman, and Halimat bint Rashid al-Zari, Chairperson of Oman's Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, visited the Azerbaijani stand to observe the handicraft products displayed. The event provides a platform for Azerbaijan to showcase its rich tradition in creative handicrafts and engage with international counterparts.
