Baku: The Azerbaijan Sport Journalists Association (AIJA) has named the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) the best news agency of 2025 during its annual ceremony. The event recognized sports specialists and media outlets for their coverage of sporting events throughout the year. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Association also announced winners in several categories, including "The Athlete of the Year," "The Team of the Year," "The Head Coach of the Year," "The Referee of the Year," and "The Journalist of the Year." These awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals and organizations within the sports sector.
