Baku: Azerbaijan’s State Security Service (SSS) has successfully brought individuals wanted for terrorism back to the country after capturing them abroad. The Sabail District Court in Baku has since issued pre-trial detention orders for these suspects, who were on the SSS’s wanted list for terrorism activities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the individuals were apprehended in various foreign locations through counter-terrorism operational-search measures executed by the SSS. The number of detained suspects is reported to be significant, indicating a substantial operation by the Azerbaijani authorities.

In response to an inquiry from APA, the SSS Press Service indicated that operational-investigative measures are still ongoing. The agency assured that detailed information regarding the arrests and the ongoing investigations will be made available to the public soon. The situation remains a high priority for the authorities as they continue their efforts to combat terrorism effectively.
