Azerbaijan Stresses End to Linking Russia-Armenia Relations with Its Affairs

Baku: The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has called for an end to the practice of linking Russia-Armenia relations with Azerbaijan, emphasizing that Azerbaijan has restored its territorial integrity and sovereignty in accordance with international law. This statement was made by Aykhan Hajizada, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in response to comments from the Russian Foreign Ministry regarding the Garabagh region and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hajizada addressed local media inquiries and underscored that the former conflict has been resolved with Azerbaijan's actions. He highlighted the importance of focusing on Russia-Armenia relations independently, without associating them with Azerbaijan. This statement comes amid ongoing discussions about the geopolitical dynamics in the region, where Azerbaijan seeks to reinforce its position following the resolution of territorial disputes.
