Milan: An Azerbaijani delegation led by the Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), Vilayat Valiyev, visited the University of Milano-Bicocca as part of a trip to Italy. The delegation included Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Subhan Namazov, and Director of the Department of Research and Development, Bakhtiyar Badalov.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, discussions took place with the Rector of the University of Milano-Bicocca, Marco Emilio Orlandi, and other university representatives. The talks focused on strengthening academic ties, launching joint research projects, establishing double degree programs, and enhancing mechanisms for international cooperation.

Both parties emphasized the importance of student and staff exchanges, joint projects, and the expansion of innovation activities. During the visit, AzTU representatives toured the university campus and reviewed its infrastructure.

The discussions concluded with an agreement to continue cooperation and further expand ties in the future.
