Baku: Azerbaijan is set to include electronic cigarettes and their components in the list of items prohibited from civil circulation. This development was reported by APA, reflecting proposed amendments to the Law "On the List of Items Prohibited from Civil Circulation (Withdrawn from Civil Circulation)." The amendments were discussed in a videoconference meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Agrarian Policy.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a previous law, No. 338-VIIQD dated December 30, 2025, already prohibits the import, export, production, storage, wholesale and retail sale, and use of electronic cigarettes and their components. The amendments aim to harmonize this law with the existing legislation on restricted items. The bill was voted on and passed in one reading, indicating a legislative move towards stricter control over electronic cigarettes in Azerbaijan.
