Baku: Azerbaijan is set to increase the volume of tax and customs benefits by 7.5 billion manats in 2025.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the state aims to provide 7 billion 509 million manats in benefits to stimulate economic activity and support social sectors.
This projected figure marks a significant rise of 2 billion 257 million manats, or 43 percent, compared to 2022. Furthermore, it represents an increase of 707.2 million manats, or 10.4 percent, from the previous year. The total benefits will consist of 4 billion 395.9 million manats in benefits and 3 billion 113.2 million manats in exemptions. Thus, benefits will account for 58.5% of the total, while exemptions will represent 41.5%.
For comparison, in 2024, benefits amounted to 3 billion 995.8 million manats, and exemptions were 2 billion 806.1 million manats. This indicates a growth of 400 million manats in benefits and 307 million manats in exemptions. The primary components of these benefits include exemptions in entrepreneurial activity, financial services, state institutions, and special economic zones.
