The construction project of the Sunrise solar power plant to be built in Jabrayil district will be implemented by the end of 2025, says Vice President of SOCAR Afgan Isayev at the Forum titled “Tax system in the new development period: strategic goals for a sustainable economy” held today, APA-Economics reports.

It should be noted that in September of 2023, bp, Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR and the Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) signed the Accession Agreement. This document reflects the intention of SOCAR and AIC to be involed in the Sunrise project.
