Baku: A draft state program focused on the development of official statistics for the period 2031-2035 is set to be prepared in Azerbaijan. This initiative is part of the broader 'State Program for the Development of Official Statistics in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030,' which was approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee has been tasked with preparing the initial draft of the state program. This process will involve considering the global assessment of the national statistics system conducted in 2029-2030, as well as the results from a satisfaction survey regarding the use of official statistical data. The committee is also responsible for coordinating the draft with relevant state authorities and submitting it for approval. The aim is to enhance the national statistics system's role in providing information support aligned with state socio-economic development policies.
