Azerbaijan to Establish Artificial Intelligence Academy

Baku: An Artificial Intelligence Academy will be established in Azerbaijan as outlined in the “Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025-2028,” which was approved by an order from President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the strategy addresses the challenges posed by the limited number or insufficient preparation of trainers involved in training and development programs for specialists in artificial intelligence and data management. It also highlights the need for improving the knowledge of leadership in state bodies. These challenges could potentially hinder the enhancement of local personnel’s knowledge levels and diminish interest in the field.

To counter these risks and improve program quality, the plan includes establishing an Artificial Intelligence Academy and forming partnerships with prestigious foreign educational institutions. Such initiatives aim to strengthen local human resources, boost interest in artificial intelligence, and accelerate development in this sector.
