Azerbaijan to export more gas to Bulgaria than 55% of this country’s annual gas consumption

It is expected that the volume of gas exports from Azerbaijan to Bulgaria will exceed 55% of this country’s annual consumption in 2024, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov said during his speech at the meeting of working circles of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, APA-Economics reports.

“We are trying to encourage our enterprises to work harder. SOCAR officially started its representation in Bulgaria last year. Azerbaijan’s energy products, especially natural gas, are exported to Bulgaria. Our guests from Bulgaria are also interested in green energy projects to be produced in Azerbaijan and Georgia,” M. Jabbarov added.
