Baku: Azerbaijan is set to implement tax benefits for the families of deminers who lost their lives while conducting demining operations. This initiative was discussed during a plenary session of the Milli Majlis, as reported by APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the proposed amendment to the Tax Code outlines a reduction in taxable monthly income by 400 manats for the parents, widows (widowers), and children of deminers. These deminers either perished due to explosive ordnance detonations during demining activities or succumbed to injuries from such incidents.
Following thorough discussions, the draft law received approval and was adopted during the third reading. This legislative change aims to provide financial relief to the families affected by the tragic loss of their loved ones in these hazardous operations.
