Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the 'Indexing of Retirement Pensions,' APA reports. The order mandates the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population to adjust retirement pensions based on the annual growth rate of the average monthly nominal salary, as determined by the State Statistical Committee for 2025.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this indexing of pensions is slated to be completed by January 1, 2026. Furthermore, the Cabinet of Ministers is responsible for resolving any issues that may arise from this order. The adjustments to the pensions will officially take effect at the beginning of 2026.
