Baku: Tax incentives are being determined in connection with the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this development was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Tax Code, which was discussed at the meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship. It was decided to hold the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum in Baku in 2026. To facilitate this, a "Host Country Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UN for the Holding of the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum in Baku in 2026" was signed and approved by law on December 22, 2023.

The tax incentives and exemptions will be applied based on the relevant confirming document and will be valid for a period of one year, starting from September 1, 2025.
