Baku: Azerbaijan will join the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments, APA reports. The planned accession was the focus of discussions at an online meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the draft law titled "On Accession to the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships' Ballast Water and Sediments" was examined during the meeting. After thorough discussions, the committee recommended the draft law for consideration at a plenary session.
