Azerbaijan to Launch Electronic Platform for Preferential Lending


BAKU: Azerbaijan plans to implement a preferential lending mechanism entirely through an electronic platform, aiming to simplify access to financing for entrepreneurs, Osman Khaliyev, Chairman of the Management Board of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, announced at a conference on innovative microfinance solutions.

According to Trend News Agency, the preparations for this initiative are nearly complete. The electronic platform is designed to facilitate the distribution of preferential loans, with a focus on expanding collaboration with a broader range of entrepreneurs and credit organizations. Recent measures have resulted in a notable increase in the number and total amounts of preferential loans granted to microenterprises, as well as small and medium-sized businesses.
