Azerbaijan to Lead Central Asian Consultative Meeting in 2027

Awaza:Azerbaijan is set to assume the chairmanship of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan for the first time in 2027, a change expected to stimulate joint activities among the nations involved, according to Kyrgyzstan's President Sadyr Japarov.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Japarov made these remarks during the opening of the 8th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries held in Awaza. He took the opportunity to congratulate Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on this forthcoming responsibility.

President Japarov expressed confidence that Azerbaijan's leadership would enhance mutual cooperation among the participating countries. He also affirmed that the Kyrgyz Republic is prepared to support Azerbaijan in implementing its chairmanship priorities successfully.
