There will be 5 non-working days in June this year in connection with National Salvation Day and Eid al-Adha of People of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

June 15 is National Salvation Day of Azerbaijani People.

According to Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated December 9, 2023, “On determination of days of Nowruz, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha Holidays for 2024”, June 16-17 will be Eid al-Adha.

According to the Labor Code, if interweek days of rest and holidays that are not considered working days coincide, that day of rest is transferred to the working day immediately following the holiday.

This year, June 15 falls on Saturday, and June 16 on Sunday, so June 18 and 19 will be non-working days. Thus, there will be no work on June 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 consecutively.
