According to Trend News Agency, Valiyeva disclosed the plans during a panel discussion at the Chain Reaction 2024 forum, emphasizing the importance of this development for Azerbaijan’s technological and economic landscape. “We are proud to establish Azerbaijan’s first innovation center, AIM. We plan to open the center in Baku and Sumgayit this October, with another center anticipated in the regions by the end of the year. Several new centers are also slated for launch in Baku next year,” Valiyeva stated.

The innovation center is part of a broader initiative to foster a culture of innovation across the country, leveraging public-private partnerships to ensure sustainability. Valiyeva highlighted the critical role of the business sector in the success of these initiatives, indicating that private enterprises are expected to play a significant part in their ongoing operation and expansion.
