Azerbaijan to Provide Free Medical and Psychological Support in Schools

Baku: Children will be provided with free psychological assistance in educational institutions, APA reports. This initiative is part of the new draft Law 'On the Rights of the Child,' which was discussed at the Milli Majlis Committee on Family, Women and Children's Affairs meeting today.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the draft law ensures that children receive free medical and psychological assistance in all educational institutions, irrespective of ownership. The existing law allows children with disabilities to receive free medical and speech therapy assistance out of turn, as determined by the relevant executive authority, and free psychological support as per the Law 'On Psychological Assistance.'
