Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order concerning the reimbursement of costs related to the production of cinematographic and other audiovisual works in Azerbaijan, APA reports. This new initiative aims to support and enhance the film industry within the country.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the order mandates the Cabinet of Ministers to establish the procedure for partially reimbursing expenses incurred during the production of such works. This procedure is to be approved within one month, and the Cabinet must inform the President about the progress. Additionally, the Cabinet is tasked with preparing proposals to improve normative legal acts in the field of cinematography, which are to be submitted to the President within three months.
Furthermore, the order requires the Cabinet of Ministers to address any other issues that arise from the implementation of this directive. This move is part of a broader strategy to foster the development of the audiovisual sector in Azerbaijan.
