Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has held a phone conversation with Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay to discuss the large-scale forest fires in Turkey.

The PM emphasized that as always, Azerbaijan stands by the brotherly country in this difficult time. He also stressed that Azerbaijan is ready to provide all possible assistance to Turkey in the fight against wildfires and mobilize all necessary forces.

Prime Minister Asadov noted that on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan will soon send a 500-man team, helicopters and other necessary equipment to brotherly Turkey.
