Baku:Document submission for the 2027 Hajj pilgrimage in Azerbaijan is set to begin earlier than in previous years, as announced by Vusal Jahangiri, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims' Office and head of the Hajj Electronic System.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, this change follows the recommendation from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Caucasus Muslims' Office has initially set the pilgrimage package price at $6,100 per person, maintaining last year's rate.

However, a slight price increase is anticipated due to global events, a reduction in service packages from four to three by the Kingdom's authorities, and the inclusion of new services. The pilgrimage will still be conducted in a unified format and via air travel.

To participate in the pilgrimage, applicants must submit an international passport valid for at least one year, a copy of their identity card, two 5 cm ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬ 5 cm color photographs (women should wear a dark hijab), and a health certificate. Documents will be accepted starting September 24, 2026, on working days from 10:00 to 16:00 at the Caucasus Muslims' Office on 7 Mirza Fatali Street, Baku.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah requires the registration and visa process to be completed earlier than in previous years.
