Tbilisi: This year, Georgia plans to import 3.34 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Georgia's Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development reports that 2.92 billion cubic meters, or 87.4%, of this volume will be supplied by Azerbaijan.
Of this supply, 1.6452 billion cubic meters will be sourced from the Shah Deniz field, while 1.281 billion cubic meters will be provided by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). In contrast, the volume of natural gas that Georgia will receive from Russia will be 400 million cubic meters, and an additional 14.05 million cubic meters will come from domestic production.
