Azerbaijan to Unveil Permanent Exhibition at Uzbekistan’s State History Museum

Tashkent: Director of the Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Uzbekistan, Akif Marifli, met with Jannat Ismailova, Director of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, to discuss the establishment of a permanent exhibition dedicated to Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing museum activities and exploring avenues for bilateral cultural cooperation through joint exhibitions and scientific-educational projects. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the strengthening humanitarian ties between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, a development attributed to the strategic partnership fostered by President Ilham Aliyev and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The discussions emphasized the significance of expanding collaboration to promote the historical and cultural heritage of both nations. The meeting culminated with an agreement to create a permanent exhibition section at the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan. This exhibition will spotlight Azerbaijan's history, culture, and statehood traditions. The initiative, led by the Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev, will involve curating and providing Azerbaijani exhibits for the museum's collection.
