‘Azerbaijan.travel’ Platform to Undergo Major Development in 2026-2030

Baku: The 'Azerbaijan.travel' digital tourism platform is set to undergo significant development between 2026 and 2030, as specified in the State Program for the Development of Tourism in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030. This initiative aims to enhance the digital landscape of Azerbaijan's tourism industry.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the State Tourism Agency and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport will spearhead the initiative. The process will begin with an assessment of the current state of the platform, followed by the creation of a new development concept and functional requirements that align with Azerbaijan's overarching digital development strategy.

The project's second phase will involve rebuilding the platform with an updated design and technological infrastructure. This phase will see the integration of multilingual digital services, interactive maps, and new features to facilitate reservations and provide tourist information.

The overarching goal of the State Program is to establish a unified national digital tourism platform. This will expand opportunities for tourists to access information, plan their trips, and utilize tourism services, thereby enhancing the overall experience for visitors to Azerbaijan.
