Baku: Azerbaijan has significantly increased its crude oil exports to Switzerland in the first seven months of 2026. From January to July, the country exported 272,501.37 tons of crude oil to Switzerland, a threefold increase amounting to an additional 182,804.45 tons compared to the same period last year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the value of these exports reached $193.596 million, reflecting a 3.6-fold increase, or an additional $139.738 million, from the previous year. This surge in exports to Switzerland represented 2.14% of Azerbaijan's total crude oil exports during the reporting period.
Data on crude oil exports, for which customs clearance was completed, shows that Azerbaijan exported a total of 12,722,590.97 tons of crude oil and petroleum products derived from bituminous rocks to 11 countries, with an overall value of $8.033 billion.
