Baku: Azerbaijan-Trkiye relations are at their highest, and we are immensely proud of our indestructible brotherhood, said President Ilham Aliyev in a congratulatory letter to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the Republic of Trkiye, Trend reports.

According to Trend News Agency, President Aliyev expressed pride in the Republic of Trkiye’s entry into its second century as a powerful, advanced, and stable country in various aspects, including political, economic, and military. He commended the country for gaining high reputation and trust on the international stage, attributing these achievements to the policy and hard work of President Erdogan under his visionary and wise leadership.

President Aliyev emphasized the inspiration and joy derived from Trkiye’s achievements, considering them as significant as Azerbaijan’s own successes. He highlighted the exceptional interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Trkiye, describing them as a cornerstone of regional cooperati
on with a vital role in contributing to development, peace, and security in the region.

The letter further expressed confidence in the deepening and strengthening of the Azerbaijan-Trkiye strategic alliance, rooted in shared history, national and moral values, and the unity of their peoples. President Aliyev reiterated the commitment to continue joint efforts in accordance with the “One nation, two states” principle.
