Azerbaijan-U.S. Strategic Partnership Strengthens Through High-Level Meetings

Baku: Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, together with Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), engaged in discussions with a delegation led by Senator Steve Daines, Member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Europe and Regional Security Cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions reaffirmed that the Azerbaijan-U.S. strategic partnership is advancing successfully, propelled by the political will of the Presidents of both nations and built on mutual trust. The dialogue centered on expanding cooperation in areas such as trade and investment, energy, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, critical minerals, and industry.

The discussions highlighted the significance of the Middle Corridor in enhancing international trade, regional connectivity, and economic integration. Additionally, the Economic Dialogue mechanism, established under the Strategic Partnership Charter, was emphasized as a crucial platform for bilateral cooperation. The parties exchanged views on a roadmap for implementing joint projects, underscoring their commitment to a robust partnership.
