Azerbaijan Unveils 180 Military Products at World Defence Show 2026

Riyadh: A delegation led by Vugar Mustafayev, Minister of Defense Industry, is currently participating in the World Defence Show 2026, a prominent global defense industry event taking place in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry informed APA about this significant involvement, highlighting Azerbaijan's presence at the event.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the exhibition features 127 modern military products from "Azersilah" Defense Industry Holding Closed Joint Stock Company, alongside 53 products from Azerbaijani companies including "6LSystems", "RD Smart", "Q-STP", "Synapline", "USH Group", and "ITX Motors". The World Defence Show 2026 hosts over 773 companies and 441 official delegations from more than 76 countries, with expectations of over 106,000 visitors attending.

During the exhibition, Minister Mustafayev engaged in a meeting with Robert Kalinak, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic, resulting in a Memorandum signed to expand defense industry cooperation between the two nations. Another significant meeting occurred with Dato Seri Haji Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Malaysia, where discussions focused on enhancing defense industry cooperation and exploring technological partnership opportunities.

The World Defence Show 2026 is scheduled to conclude on February 12.
