Azerbaijan Updates E-System Rules for State Compulsory Personal Insurance.


Baku: Amendments have been made to the “Regulations on the centralized electronic information system of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.” President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed a relevant decree to implement these changes.

According to Trend News Agency, the amendments require several institutions, including the Azerbaijani Parliament, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsperson), Azerbaijan’s courts, and various ministries such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, and Ministry of Internal Affairs, to submit information related to state compulsory personal insurance. This information must be entered into the subsystem of “State Compulsory Personal Insurance” on the day the documents are processed. Other entities involved include the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, State Migration Service, and the General Prosecutor’s Office, among others.

Furthermore, the General Prosecutor’s Office is
instructed to provide necessary information to the Ministry’s subordinate State Social Protection Fund within five working days of processing documents. This submission is required to be in both paper and electronic formats and is in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Secrets.”
