Baku:The multinational joint special forces exercise, titled "Eternal Brotherhood - V," brought together special forces from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The exercise aimed at bolstering regional security, stability, and military cooperation.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, The exercise provided an opportunity for Azerbaijani military personnel to showcase their combat readiness and professionalism. Emphasis was placed on exchanging experiences among the participating countries and enhancing interoperability in planning and executing joint operations.
During the exercise, operations were conducted in both mountainous terrain and populated areas. The special forces carried out infiltration missions, reconnaissance tasks, and hostage rescue operations. They also engaged in daytime and nighttime firing exercises using various firearms and specialized equipment.
Major General Alakbar Jahangirov, Commander of the Azerbaijan Special Forces, observed the exercise's final phase and praised the skills and preparedness of the Azerbaijani personnel. The exercise concluded with awards for distinguished military personnel and a commemorative group photo.
