Gabala: Azerbaijan has welcomed another group of 30 Ukrainian children who have been affected by the ongoing conflict in their home country. These children have been brought to Azerbaijan to participate in a specially designed socio-psychological rehabilitation program organized by the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the rehabilitation program aims to stabilize the emotional state of the children and facilitate their integration into society. The 10-day program, held at the Gabala Children's Rehabilitation Centre, includes medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation services. The children will participate in individual consultations, group therapy sessions, and activities such as yoga and dance therapy, all led by professional psychologists.
In addition to the rehabilitation services, the children will also partake in excursions and other recreational activities as part of their recovery process. To date, nearly 450 Ukrainian children have benefited from the socio-psychological rehabilitation services offered in Azerbaijan.
