It should be noted that the pipe-laying vessel “Suleiman Vezirov” with a displacement of 8,900 tons was built in the Netherlands in 1973. Its operation in the Caspian Sea began in 1975. The pipelayer is not self-propelled, it is driven by tow trucks. Its length is 107 meters, width is 27. The vessel is capable of laying 1200 meters of pipeline per day if the weather conditions are favorable.
