Azerbaijani Aircraft Dispatched to Assist Turkey in Wildfire Crisis


BAKU – Following orders from President Ilham Aliyev, an Azerbaijani BE-200CS amphibious aircraft has been deployed to assist Turkey in combating severe forest fires.



According to Trend News Agency, The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ aircraft took off from Heydar Aliyev International Airport and is en route to Izmir, Turkey, as reported by Trend. This mission underscores Azerbaijan’s commitment to aiding its neighboring country during environmental emergencies.
