Astana: Aghalar Atamoghlanov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan, has been awarded the medal for his contributions to the development of the electoral system in the country. He received the award during a meeting with Mukhtar Yerman, Secretary of Kazakhstan's Central Election Commission.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani diplomat expressed his gratitude for the award and for the trust placed in him. The meeting also addressed other issues of mutual concern.
