BAKU – Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia, Polad Bulbuloglu, has announced the conclusion of his 18.5-year diplomatic service in Moscow, marking a transition in his career towards political representation in his native Shusha.
According to Trend News Agency, Bulbuloglu expressed his desire to represent Shusha in the Azerbaijani parliament, emphasizing his deep connection to the region, especially after the liberation of Karabakh. “I hope to be elected and it would be an honor to serve as the first MP post-liberation of Karabakh,” he stated in an interview with TASS. The ambassador also highlighted his personal project, the restoration of his father’s house in Shusha, which has now become a house-museum visited by many tourists. He voiced his intent to dedicate the remainder of his life to serving his homeland and its people.
