Yerevan: Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan engaged in a phone conversation to discuss recent regional developments. The dialogue took place on March 5 and focused on addressing concerns related to escalating tensions between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Bayramov informed his Armenian counterpart about drone attacks targeting the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan on the same day, highlighting the damage to civilian infrastructure and injuries to civilians. Both ministers emphasized the need to avoid actions that could worsen the situation and underlined the significance of maintaining stability and security in the region.

The conversation also revolved around the importance of establishing lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The ministers addressed various issues of mutual concern, underscoring the necessity for continued dialogue to resolve ongoing disputes.
