Azerbaijani and Belarusian Defense Ministries Discuss Military Information Cooperation

Minsk: A working meeting between military information field representatives of the Defense Ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus was held in Minsk. The Ministry of Defense shared this development with AZERTAC, emphasizing the collaborative efforts to strengthen ties in the military information domain.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Colonel Anar Eyvazov, Chief of Media and Public Affairs Department and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, highlighted the efforts made by Azerbaijan to provide information support and counter disinformation during significant military operations, including the 44-day Patriotic War and other combat initiatives. The discussions also included an extensive exchange of views on enhancing strategic communications and addressing other mutual concerns.

During their visit, the Azerbaijani delegation had the opportunity to visit the 'Khatyn' memorial complex. They also explored the workings of the Belarusian Armed Forces' military information agency 'Vayar' and the TV channel 'VoenTV'. Additionally, the delegation engaged with various cultural centers, furthering their understanding of Belarusian military and cultural operations.
