Azerbaijani and Belarusian Military Experts Discuss Engineering and Technical Support Cooperation


Baku: Military experts from Azerbaijan and Belarus met to discuss engineering and technical support as part of the bilateral cooperation plan for 2024, according to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense. The Belarus Ministry of Defense delegation, currently visiting Azerbaijan, attended meetings at the International Military Cooperation Department of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Major General Anar Karimov, Chief of the Main Department of the Engineering Troops, provided the Belarusian delegation with a briefing on Azerbaijan’s engineering activities, including ongoing mine clearance efforts in liberated territories following the Patriotic War. The discussions focused on potential avenues for deepening mutual cooperation and advancing military relations between the two countries. As part of the visit, the Belarusian delegation reviewed weapons, supplies, and engineering equipment at a military unit of the Engineering Troops.
