Azerbaijani and Chinese Experts Explore Innovation Ecosystem Opportunities and Challenges

Baku: Within the framework of the opening ceremony of the International Telecommunication Union’s (ITU) Regional Acceleration Center, a panel discussion on ‘Opportunities and Challenges in the Innovation Ecosystem’ was held. The event featured speeches from key representatives of ITU’s acceleration centers from Azerbaijan and China, highlighting the collaborative efforts to enhance the innovation landscape.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ke Wang, a representative of ITU’s Global Acceleration Center in China, and Ku Jiang from the Regional Acceleration Center, shared insights on the unique characteristics of China’s innovation ecosystem. They discussed how these features align with the country’s specific economic model. Ke Wang emphasized the significant role of acceleration centers in bridging the ‘digital divide’ and fostering an inclusive innovation ecosystem.

Elvin Hajiyev, representing ITU’s Regional Acceleration Center in Azerbaijan, highlighted the development of innovation centers not only in Baku but also in other regions of the country. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to stimulate regional innovation and contribute to the national innovation ecosystem.
