Azerbaijani and Georgian Ministers Discuss Transport and Digital Cooperation

Baku: The Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, recently met with Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting focused on the current cooperation and future prospects between Azerbaijan and Georgia in the transport sector. Discussions included the steps necessary for the full operation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway project and improving the regulatory legal framework in the field of automobile transport.

The ministers also exchanged views on potential collaboration in the fields of information and communication technology (ICT), digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and innovation. The discussions aimed at strengthening ties between the two neighboring countries and exploring new areas of partnership.
