Kyiv:A civilian vessel carrying corn, owned by T¼rkiye, was attacked by two Russian drones while navigating in neutral waters. Azerbaijani and Indian citizens were part of the crew on board.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on Telegram that the ship's captain was killed in the attack. Efforts are ongoing to determine the fate of another individual. Out of the crew members, eleven were rescued, with one sustaining injuries.

Zelenskyy highlighted that Ukraine has consistently proposed specific measures to de-escalate tensions and ensure safety in the Black Sea region. Additionally, he noted that proposals from third countries have also been made to address the situation.
