Baku: The Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Sahiba Gafarova, announced the signing of a cooperation memorandum with the Speaker of the Slovak National Council, Richard Ra‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬¦¡¬¦¡¬¦¡i, during a joint press conference in Baku. This memorandum signifies the robust interparliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Sahiba Gafarova highlighted that both countries have elevated their relationship to a strategic partnership level. The cooperation spans various sectors, including the economy, trade, energy, and defense industry, with humanitarian cooperation being of particular significance.
Gafarova emphasized the importance of the newly signed Memorandum of Understanding, which is expected to broaden parliamentary cooperation between the two nations. Additionally, she mentioned the Slovak parliament delegation's upcoming visit to the village of Bash Garvand in Aghdam, a project undertaken by Slovak companies. Gafarova expressed appreciation for Slovakia's support in Azerbaijan's reconstruction efforts in Karabakh, noting that the village will symbolize Azerbaijani-Slovak friendship in the liberated territories.
