According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Spanish Foreign Minister conveyed his congratulations on the recent advancements in the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, which were accomplished during the Summit coinciding with the Azerbaijani President's visit to the United States.
The telephone conversation emphasized the significance of collaboration in various domains, including economic, trade, energy, tourism, humanitarian, and educational sectors. Both ministers reflected positively on the Spanish Prime Minister's visit to Azerbaijan during the COP29 conference.
Additionally, the dialogue included preparations for the forthcoming round of political consultations between the two countries' Foreign Ministries in Baku, which will build upon the consultations conducted in 2024. The ministers also discussed regional issues of mutual interest.
