Azerbaijani and Turkish companies sign agreements


BAKU: Azerbaijan’s DO-DEM LLC and Turkish Multipack have signed an agreement on the construction of a factory for the production of paper-based containers in Azerbaijan, during the Azerbaijani-Turkish Investment Forum, Trend reports.

Additionally, another agreement between Azerbaijani Diplomat LTD and Turkish Dogru Holdinq on the construction of a new hotel in Azerbaijan was signed within the framework of the forum.

Within the forum, opportunities for expansion of Azerbaijani-Turkish cooperation in various directions were considered, and investment and cooperation agreements were signed. In particular, the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) and the Public Association of Businessmen and Industrialists of Azerbaijan and Trkiye (TUIB) signed an action plan for 2024.

More than 600 representatives of government agencies and the private sector from both countries took part in the event.

Panel sessions covering the sectors of investment, trade, agriculture, defense in
dustry, green energy, and health tourism were held within the forum.

Business-to-business (B2B) meetings between entrepreneurs were also organized.
